Accounting Manager

For more than two decades, Orange Logic has empowered a wide range of clients with its digital asset management system, Orange Logic Platform. We’ve worked with almost every industry, from Finance to NGOs, Media giants to educational institutions, securing and organizing their assets. For this role, the accounting manager will act as a strong accounting business partner to the Orange Logic Controller, assisting with accounting and financial reporting for the company.
What you can expect in your role:
- Work with Team to move all entities onto one accounting and financial reporting system
- Management of general ledger for Orange Logic and its foreign subsidiaries
- Prepare consolidated financial statements with foreign currency translation
- Organize information and statements for external auditors
- Prepare consolidated budgets for US and foreign entities
- Work on monthly close process and initial review of workpapers
- Backfill for Accounts Payable, Payroll and Billing, as needed
- Monitor cash and funding balances and prepare cash projections
- Work with Controller to define, benchmark, and implement operational best practices and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations for all Orange Logic entities
- Additional duties and special projects as needed.
You are:
- Obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 4 years practical accounting experience
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.)
- SaaS / Software industry experience preferred
- Able to adapt to an always evolving, fast paced environment with a keen sense of urgency
- Positive attitude and team player
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to resolve complex issues
- Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Capable of multi-tasking and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with accounting and operations teams

Compensation:
The target compensation for this position is $90,000 - 110,000 in most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
