This role is responsible for managing all aspects of our customer software upgrade projects. This role acts as the primary liaison between our clients and internal teams, ensuring that the update process is streamlined, standardized, and designed to scale across our customer base. It is a key position in maintaining our customer satisfaction and driving continuous process improvements.

 

What you can expect in your role: 

Project Management:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of customer update/upgrade projects for over 150 customers —from planning and scheduling to deployment and post-deployment communication 
  • Define and maintain the list of clients scheduled for major updates, ensuring clarity on timelines and deliverables 
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to develop and manage an update/upgrade calendar, ensuring that customers stay on a supported major release 
  • Oversee the deployment of mass minor updates, serving as the primary point of contact for communication 

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gain (via process changes, automation, or other) and work with stakeholders to implement improvements 
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to established project management principles and are completed on schedule

Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones 
  • Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to senior management and other key stakeholders 
  • Act as a customer advocate by ensuring that their update/upgrade needs are met effectively 
  • Identify trends across deployments related to performance or functionality, and notify appropriate stakeholders in a timely fashion

You are: 

  • Obtained a bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years experience managing complex, cross-functional enterprise software implementations
  • Proven project management experience with a strong track record in process improvement 
  • Sufficient technical background to understand and manage complex software systems 
  • Proficiency with G-Suite or related software is required 
  • Preferred: Experience with Digital Asset Management systems, release management, update management, or QA processes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively articulate project details 
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills 
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently 
  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams

Compensation: 

The target compensation for this position is $100,000 - 140,000 in most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
